Priorities for the Next Two Years
Keeping Taxes Low & Finances Strong
I will continue to hold the line on property taxes and protect Royal Palm Beach’s position as having the lowest property tax rate for cities with more than 2,000 residents in Palm Beach County—while maintaining strong reserves and long-term financial stability.
Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency
Residents deserve confidence that their tax dollars are being managed responsibly and decisions are made openly. I support careful budgeting, strong financial oversight, and clear communication so residents can easily understand how Village funds are used and why decisions are made. I will continue to push for improved transparency and better use of technology to keep residents informed, engaged, and connected to their local government.
Public Safety You Can Rely On
Our Sheriff’s deputies, firefighters, and paramedics keep our community safe every day. I will continue to support the funding and resources they need to provide fast, high-quality emergency services for our residents.
Smart Growth & Neighborhood Protection
I will stand up for our neighborhoods by supporting responsible development that respects existing communities, protects residential areas, and preserves the quality of life that makes Royal Palm Beach special. This includes standing firmly against hotel development in residential areas, such as proposals for the Madison Green golf course, to protect neighborhood character and quality of life.
Investing in Parks, Recreation & Community Spaces
With the new Recreation Center breaking ground in 2026 (fully funded without incurring Village debt), I will focus on expanding youth sports, recreation programs, and community activities that bring families together.
Supporting Seniors & Enhancing Quality of Life
I will work to expand programs and services for our seniors, ensuring they remain active, connected, and supported in our Village.
Neighborhood Improvements & Traffic Safety
I will continue focusing on practical neighborhood improvements, including traffic calming measures that make our streets safer for families, seniors, and children.
Supporting Teachers Without Raising Taxes
As a longtime educator, I will champion efforts to recognize and support teachers who live and work in Royal Palm Beach—without increasing taxes—through partnerships and community-based initiatives.
Empowering Residents to use Artificial Intelligence
Using my experience guiding responsible AI use in public education, I want to help residents learn practical, safe ways to use AI to save time and navigate everyday tasks.
